Prison Staff training - 03/11/06

The chapel at HMPYOI Werrington has provided the venue for the Sonic [db] activity in yr 1.  Staff training and development is central to Sonic [db].  Chaplains have expressed a great deal of interest in being trained on the Sonic [db] equipment so that they might use it themselves and with trainees at Werrington. We hope to work with them before the end of 2006 to make this a reality.

At HMPYOI Brinsford two prison officers in particular are keen for training and development on the Sonic [db] set up, both for their own personal and professional development and for the benefit of the inmates on the Young Adults (18-21) Wing.  Sonic [db] is working with the institution and the artists to achieve this aim.
